Postpartum Concierge Specialists are trained to help you adjust to the many changes and new challenges you may encounter with a new baby. It is our hope that when you have support, those challenges can feel less overwhelming, your confidence may be higher and your new family can bond and thrive.
Our Postpartum Concierge Specialists will:
♥ Respect you, your family, your home and your parenting styles.
♥ Will not make decisions for you or speak for you though we may assist you with information.
♥ Provide non-medical physical, emotional and informational support after the birth of your baby.
♥ Help with self-care recovery, postpartum comfort measures, infant care, parenting information, and provides assistance with learning to feed and care for baby.
♥ Preparing simple meals and snacks, assisting with light household tasks like laundry, and other forms of support as appropriate and necessary.
Our Postpartum Concierge Specialists do not:
♥ Perform major housecleaning tasks (ex: washing windows, moving furniture or yard work).
♥ Do not provide transportation for mother, baby or family.
♥ Offer medical advice or replace care from a medical provider.
♥ Don’t administer any type of prescription or over the counter medication to you or your baby.
♥ Don’t discipline other children.
Postpartum Concierge Specialist Service Details
♥ Prenatal visit at your home (baby care, sibling preparation, child proofing, relaxation).
♥ Continuous physical and emotional support (listening and assisting with questions/concerns regarding infant care and feeding, transitions of parenthood and more).
♥ Baby care education and support (assist in bathing, feeding, comforting the baby, cutting baby’s nails, organizing the nursery/your home, etc.)
♥ Our specialists are Adult/Infant CPR Certified.
♥ Breastfeeding education and assistance.
♥ If bottle feeding, supplementing support and feeding assistance.
♥ Preparing simple, nutritious meals or snacks.
♥ Maintaining simple housework (laundry, vacuuming, emptying garbage, dishes, etc.)
♥ Light errand running or grocery shopping (shopping funds provided by client). ♥ Watching the baby and/or older children so Mom/Dad/Partner can rest.
♥ Lending library of reading materials & resources.
♥ Referrals to other professionals as needed.
♥ Unlimited telephone, text, and email contact.
