Bethany is a Birth Arts International Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula with a big heart for empowering women through the transition into motherhood. After the birth of her son in 2017, she attended a Doula workshop and started her journey to live out her dream of becoming a Birth Worker. Bethany is passionate about supporting women through all stages of becoming a mother. She believes it is truly one of life’s most challenging and rewarding events and a precious invitation for growth. As a young girl, she was always pretending to be pregnant, breastfeeding her baby dolls, and practicing her role of “Mama to her babies.” A mother is all she’s ever wanted to be and pregnancy, birth, and postpartum have always been fascinating and exciting to her. She is honored to be invited into birth spaces and homes of those taking on this new role; and hopes to help carry the load and offer encouragement and support. She enjoys continuing her education and feels that there is always more to learn about birth, parenting, and women’s care.
If you catch Bethany out and about, she will probably be listening to an audio book or podcast in her car and sipping a homemade latte. She loves hiking, practicing yoga, and running, and her husband and son are her whole world.
